Doctor Consulting Patient

The cost of chiropractic service varies based on insurance coverage and what the individual needs. The doctors will determine an individual care plan which will dictate what services are provided; this will determine the cost.

Your first with visit can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. To speed up that process we can email you paperwork prior to your first visit that gets uploaded into our secure systems directly. The length of follow up visits will depend on treatment provided for that day. Some form of stim, rehab, traction, and/or an adjustment are provided during each visit.

If you have recent x-rays, CT’s or other lab results on the area of concern, please bring those for your first visit. If you do not have any recent images and they need to be taken, we can do so on site.  The doctors will determine if you do or do not need images; it is a case-by-case decision, when clinically warranted.

We use electrical stimulation, interferential current (IFC), to help decrease muscular spasm, decrease pain, and to bring increased blood flow to the injured area to help expediate the healing process.

We take all major medical insurances, Medicare, Medicaid, VA, BWC, and personal injury claims.

Yes, we do take workers’ compensation claims.

Yes, we do take personal injury cases.

We will be doing some combination of an adjustment, therapies, and rehab at each visit.  It is easiest for the patient if they are wearing clothing similar to what they would at the gym.

At your first visit, you will be greeted by our front desk and asked to fill out some paperwork telling us about your current pain. If you would like, we can send you an email prior to your first visit to have that paperwork sent over and uploaded securely to our system.  Next, you will sit down with one of the doctors to go over your symptoms.  Following this discussion, the doctor will determine the next best steps.  Every case is different so the doctor will use subjective and objective information to decide on the proper next steps.    Typically, patients will do one or more than one of the following: get an x-ray, have stim, or receive an adjustment.  After your first visit the doctor will come up with a treatment plan that is best suited for you.  At the second visit you and the doctor will discuss that treatment plan and then continue treatment.

Sometimes an adjust may be uncomfortable but it should not hurt. The doctor will determine the best technique for each patient.  Our diversified doctors are trained in multiple techniques and have the ability to determine which one to use in each scenario.

If you have been going to chiropractors for years and just need to get adjusted, come on in. If we have not seen you before, you will need to fill out some initial paperwork.

The majority of insurance plans do not require a referral to visit a chiropractor. If you have any questions you can always call member services for your plan and ask.

If you have received treatment previously at our office and are looking to come back in, you can expect to be given a re-examination. These are much quicker than your first visit.  A simple update of any information that has changed since your last visit.

The doctor will provide a plan of care for each complaint based off of subjective and objective information. There is no single care plan for everyone.  Our goal at Cuyahoga Falls Chiropractic, is to return the patient back to pain-free living as quickly as possible.

There are a wide range and variety of insurances, along with cost for appointments. Our staff provides a complimentary insurance verification for you during your first visit.  The doctor will determine the best course of treatment after your initial visit.  Our staff will compare your treatment plan to your insurance benefits and tell you at your second visit what we have found out.  These benefits are never a guarantee and are only our best guess with the information provided by the insurance company.  You can always call member services for your insurance company to find out your benefits as well.

No, we do not tell people that you have to come in forever once you get adjusted. Now, we do have patients who will continue to come in weekly, monthly, quarterly, or even yearly.  These scenarios are based off the doctor’s findings and the patients needs.  And let’s be honest, it just feels so much better when you are adjusted!

You do not need an MRI prior to your first visit. If you have already had one recently, please bring it in.  If you do not, and the doctor determines you need one, they will write you a script for one.

All people experience an adjustment differently. Some people feel sore for a day or two and then feel amazing following that time frame.  Some people feel great immediately after.  It is important that you communicate how you are feeling with the doctor so they know if they should be changing anything that they are doing at each visit.

There is a link HERE for our initial paperwork. This is unloaded directly to our secure portal.  Should you not be able to fill it out prior to your first visit be sure to show up fifteen minutes early to fill out paperwork prior to your first visit.
